Chicken Roast Recipe

Chicken Roast Recipe

Ingredients:

Chicken – 2 lb( cut into small cubes)

Oil – 4 tbsp

Onion -2 medium

Ginger garlic paste – 2 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp

Salt – 1/2 tsp or as per taste

Red  chilli powder – 1  1/2 tsp

Coriander powder – 2tsp

Cumin powder -1 1/2 tsp

Garam masala powder – 1 tsp

Black ground pepper – 1/4 th tsp

Curry leaves – 3 strands

 

Procedure:

 

  • Take a wide pan for this recipe. When it’s hot add oil and throw in onion.

  • Fry it until they turn soft, you need not fry onion too much.

  • Now throw in everything else one after the other…. turmeric, ginger garlic paste, chicken, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chilli powder, salt.

  • Give a good mix and let these cook on a low flame.

  • You don’t need to add water as chicken oozes some water and that will be good enough for the chicken to cook well.

  • When the chicken is almost done add curry leaves, garam masala, black pepper( adding curry leaves gives very good flavor to the curry).

  • Keep the lid closed all the time.

  • Let it cook for few more mins and sprinkle lot of coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
